  1. The short-timers party at the Oasis Club.
  1. Poor man's night at the Oasis Club (free food, drink and gambling).
  1. Inexpensive Beer and Liquor (tax and duty-free).
  1. Floor shows at the Macambo and the Blue Nile clubs downtown.
  1. Barhopping and drinking warm Melotti beers and Zibib downtown.
  1. Late night Gerry Cart rides to Mama Kathy's (off limits).
  1. Trips to Massawa and Keren for R&R (although I rarely got any rest).
  1. Later night visits to the Green Doors (off limits).
  1. Late-late night parties with Juanie and Flora from the Fiore Bar.
