WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?:

The renewal of old friendships that began at Kagnew Station in the mid to late 1960's. Some of us have been having mini-reunions for years. The 1965-1969 Group has been having a General Reunion every summer since the original "Blast on the Beach" in June 2002. This year's reunion is dedicated to our memories of 1SG George W. Keener, Company A, 1966 - 1968. A Memorial Tribute will be held in his honor at the Saturday night dinner.

WHO'S INVITED?:

This Reunion is limited to those who were at Kagnew Station, Asmara, Eritrea between 1965 and 1969, their significant others and invited guests! There will be limited seating (60) at the Saturday Dinner/Banquet. Therefore registration will be on a first come first served basis! REUNION SITE:

Treasure Island, Florida. A Barrier Island on the Gulf of Mexico west of Saint Petersburg, Florida. Our base of operations will be the SunCoast Motel which is directly across the street from my apartment. There are a limited amount of rooms available (so book ASAP), other more costly accomodations are available nearby! Friday June 17, 2005 - Saturday June 18, 2005

REUNION ITINERY:

FRIDAY: A Bar-B-Que at the host Motel's (The SunCoast) Beachfront property will be held between 1800 and 2300 hours. A stunning array of gastronomical delights will be provided by Zazz - bring the beverage of your choice (iced coolers available). No Glass Containers are allowed on the Beach!

SATURDAY: Dinner at Captain Kosmokos Restaurant & Lounge at 1900 hours! The dinner will cost $25 per person including tax and Gratuity. Cash Bar !
